This year's Strictly Come Dancing 2021 line-up features comedy actor, Robert Webb, and as his place on the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard will show, he is not the novelty act that many expected him to be.

Strictly Come Dancing week three is about to start and the Strictly Come Dancing judges will watch Robert perform a Quickstep to The Muppet Show Theme by The Muppets from The Muppet Show - it's Movie Week after all. Robert will once again be dancing alongside his professional partner Diane Buswell.

We know from series such as Peep Show and Back that he can make us laugh, but will his scores improve as he makes his way into week 2?

Here's everything you need to know about Robert, including what he had to say about his Strictly signing.

Scoreboard

Week One: Cha Cha (6 + 4 + 4 + 6) = 20

Week Two: Tango (7 + 7 + 6 + 7) = 27

Robert may have been looking forward to the BBC One dancing show, but we're not quite sure he understood the premise when he signed up...

After he was announced for the line-up, he said: "I am ludicrously excited to be taking part in Strictly this year. It’s a big, generous, joyful show and I can’t wait to get packed into a spandex onesie and fired from a glitter cannon directly at Claudia Winkleman. At least I think that’s what happens."

Not quite, but good luck regardless!

He added: "My goal is to try to survive from week to week without causing serious injury to myself or innocent bystanders. I know it’s going to be a challenge. To do well in this competition is a test of character, although mainly it’s a test of dancing.”
